PMO Assistant / Junior PMO Analyst - Permanent

A leading Financial Services business are currenlty looking for a PMO Assistant to work on a number of new projects that are just in their initial phases. You will provide change support to a project team helping to produce of all required MI and ensuring that appropriate governance and controls are adhered to and maintained.

Role Accountabilities

* Governance controls: To maintain a detailed understanding of the Change framework providing guidance to others and ensuring adherence to the model
* Stakeholder management: To initiate and maintain relationships with key project / business stakeholders
* Documentation: To support in the production of all required MI and documentation, ensuring timely completion and appropriate maintenance
* Administration: To provide administration support to the Project / Programme Manager as required
* Delivery: To be the central point for coordination and production of regular and ad hoc Programme MI, providing advice in the production and management of financial, risk, resource, benefits, reporting, planning / scheduling.
* Innovation: To continually review and assess the delivery and management of processes, policies and procedures, in order to identify areas for improvement

Skills and Knowledge

* Advanced MS Office skills in Excel, Project, Visio and PowerPoint
* Experienced user of MS SharePoint 2010 & 2013
* Experience of, and demonstrable competence in PM methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2)
* Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
* Must be able to multi task and cope well under pressure
* Ability to work in a reactive and hands-on environment
* Strong organisational skills

Experience

* Previous experience of working within a project / programme environment
* Demonstrable experience of supporting project delivery in both an Agile and / or Traditional delivery environment
