Accounting Associate (3 month FTC)

Job Description

The Accounting Associate will support the Finance department across all functions assisting the team with a variety of tasks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

* Processing vendor invoices, to include obtaining the necessary approvals, correctly coding invoices, inputting onto the AP ledger and running weekly payment cycles.
* Processing personal expense forms for payment.
* Raising accounts receivable fee and re-bill invoices on the AR ledger.
* Liaising with suppliers.
* Inputting vendor re-bill invoices on a work-flow to be reviewed and approved by business management.
* General ledger accounting to include journal entries.
* Clean up and maintenance of balance sheet reconciliations.
* Other adhoc duties.

Knowledge and Skills:

* The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a small team.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work a must.
* The ability to work accurately and efficiently will be key in this role.
* Ideally suits a Part Qualified accountant with knowledge of all accounting functions.
* Knowledge of Dynamics (or other Microsoft accounting systems) a benefit together with good Excel skills.
