In response to our rapidly growing business, we are seeking candidates for the role of Sales & New Business Development Manager. The successful candidate must have a successful track record of hunting and managing complex corporate clients with an objective towards achieving new sales goals.

 

Working as a part of the global sales team you will be a key stakeholder in the growth of our product sales and successful business in Retail industry in the EMEAR region. The job will be an individual contributor based in the London offices.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales objectives through sales to new customers

  • Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow up, pipeline development, networking and partner relationships

  • Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, and negotiation to close

  • Intimately understand the target market, 'new logo' client's business priorities, operational pressures and IT capabilities in order to proactively develop a pipeline of sales opportunities

  • Achieve the position of 'trusted advisor' and 'thought leader' within 'new logo' client/s in order to achieve sales success and position PredictX as a key long-term business partner

  • Develop and maintain the most senior level relationships within 'new logo' client/s in order to maximise sales opportunities and 'budget share'

  • Lead all sales activities within 'new logo' client/s, including the overall solution design, commercial arrangements, sales collateral creation, demonstration of PredictX capability, client engagement, negotiation and 'close'

  • Actively seek out market and competitor intelligence in order to position PredictX consistently as the 'supplier of choice'

  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about PredictX’s products and services

  • Create, agree and implement the tactical and long-term sales strategy, approach and objectives for 'new logo’ clients

  • Feed into and influence the business, sales, and marketing plan for assigned territory to drive sales

  • Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual revenue numbers for assigned territory

  • Use effective time and territory management to maximize results by consistently maintaining a reasonable number of new weekly face-to-face prospect meetings, cold calls, and prospecting as assigned by the MD

  • Develop and maintain relationships with third party vendors to increase direct selling opportunities as appropriate

  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs, coordinating and organizing input from multiple sources within PredictX

  • Document daily sales activities in sales force automation tool, prepare reports, manage pipeline and perform other tasks necessary to drive sales revenue

  • Participate in the appropriate forums and events in order to raise the profile of PredictX in target market

 

Previous Experience Required

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years successful B2B SaaS software or similar experience, in one of the two: Retail software industry or BI technology space

  • Experience in developing sales pipeline for a newly launched software product

  • Proven experience in achieving sales in Retail software

  • Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned quotas

 

Key Skills

  • Sales experience with SaaS applications

  • Highly motivated and able to work independently

  • Creative problem solver

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on persuasion and presentation abilities

  • Excellent telephone skills

  • Strong business acumen

  • Excellent PC and Internet skills, including experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, sales force automation tools and web presentation applications like WebEx, Go to Meeting or Join Me

  • Job involves travel as necessary to meet sales quotas
